January crafts

I’ve already put up a post about cloths

Marshmallow or coconut ice?
baggy bloomers and a leftover newborn soaker

butterfly pants for J13, who initially didn’t like the fabric, but it grew on her and eventually she requested it!

hydrangea baggy pants for me – I saw a lady when we were camping with something similar and asked her if I could have a look at how they were made – cheeky huh! I came home, changed the design and have myself some very comfy pants. Just need a button on the side coz they fly open when racing around the park chasing balls. The belt loops at the back are made with ribbon that Poh-poh put on a dress she made for our eldest niece (who will be twenty-one this year….crikey I wasn’t even married then, though I had met my love) – even in our new clothes I try to include a little something recycled!

one floral, three shorts……after fourteen years of wearing the same pair of shorts for exercising, Father Bear insisted I get myself something new! I decided to go for a fabric I like, but usually wouldn’t necessarily wear….and there was enough left over for two of the girls to have a pair of shorts as well. Don’t worry, we won’t all wear them at the same time ;-) No picture of my ones, but they are exactly the same design as my trousers, only a short version.

even with brand new pants, this waif looks scruffy!

Rachael you are so clever!! I love the knitting (love that wool!) and your pants look to be a really comfy design! Well done you!

I cried reading your previous post about FIL’s wife. So sad.
